Description of oocyst: Oocyst shape: spheroid; number of walls: 1; wall characteristics: smooth; L x W: 9.2 x 9.2 (8-10); L/W ratio: 1.0; M: absent; OR: absent; PG: absent. Distinctive features of oocyst: small size, lack of OR and PG.

Description of sporocysts and sporozoites: Sporocyst shape: lemon-shaped; L x W: 6-7 x 4-5; L/W ratio: 1.5; SB: present and prominent; SSB: absent; PSB: absent; SR: present; SR characteristics: clumped globules; SP: 10-13 x 1.5, tapered at both ends. Distinctive features of sporocyst: presence of SB and SP that are longer than L of sporocysts.

Prevalence: 1 of 16 (6%)

Sporulation: Exogenous. Oocysts sporulated in 2.5% aqueous (w/v) potassium dichromate solution.
