SR: present; SR characteristics: globules arranged peripherally in sporocyst, but
shown between SP in drawing; SR size: not given; SP: refractile globules present at

Remarks: The sporulated oocyst resembles that of
E.
os, but has a dark inner wall
(Svanbaev, 1963 drawing) that E. os lacks. Svanbaev (1964) wrote a second
paper
describing E. menzbieri as new, even though he had already described it in
1963.
