Description of oocyst: Oocyst shape: ovoid to ellipsoid; number of walls: 2; wall characteristics: smooth, colorless outer surface with darker, inner layer; L x W: 27.5 x 21.8 (21-24 x 25-30); L/W ratio: 1.3; M: absent; OR: absent; PG: 1-3. Distinctive features of oocyst: lack of M and OR.

Description of sporocysts and sporozoites: Sporocyst shape: subspheroid to ovoid; L x W: 14.8 x 12.4 (12-13 x 13-16); L/W ratio: 1.2 (1.1-1.3); SB: present as thin, dense body; SSB: present, triangular-shaped and protrudes into SB; PSB: absent; SR: present, randomly scattered in sporocyst; SP: have 1 prominent ovoid posterior RB and a small, ovoid, centrally located nucleus. Distinctive features of sporocyst: scattered SR.

Prevalence: 3 of 3 (100%).

Sporulation: Exogenous. Oocysts were stored in 2.5% (w/v) aqueous potassium dichromate solution at ambient temp. for up to 2 m prior to examination.

Prepatent and patent periods: Unknown.

Site of infection: Unknown. Oocysts found in feces.

Remarks: This species has not been reported since its original description.
